The reason this cannot be done is because you are actually incompatible with the technology that allows these mercenaries to transfer their consciousness while not being in a pod. The reason why you are killed after a brain scan is because any brain scan process that does not take place over several hours (and which, by necessity, requires you to either get a general reading or to be put into complete stasis while it goes on) is because the process of flash-scanning an entire human brain burns out the pitiful little electric currents that make you who you are.
I am not certain you understand exactly how much data there is in a complete human mind. The mercenaries implants allow this process to take place without the pod, but they end up just as dead afterwards. Their suits, I believe, then incinerate their bodies to create the same effect that the neurotoxin that gets injected into us upon pod breech produces. That is to say that it makes sure the the wreck of your body left without a functioning mind is killed off, as a sort of mercy gesture.
On the other hand, if the Mercenaries tried to pilot a ship with their mind, they would immediately find themselves locked forever into a horrifying paralysis called Wetgrave. You are not subject to it because the peculiar nature of your genetics allows your consciousness to hop back and forth between bodies like they are an old suit of clothes, and with only marginally more difficulty than that.

Kithrus, the Society of Conscious Thought is not a Jovian corporation. It is a religious one, based on Jovian ideas.
It has also not presented an actual Jovian member in quite some time.
And no, the Sansha did not kill the Jovians. What we did was went into their space (because it is something we can do that you cannot), and found their stations empty, their ships abandoned, and their people missing. |

Also, to my knowledge no one in CONCORD has seen a Jovian since the Jovian Ambassador went and spread his molecules across the universe in his failed teleportation attempt. |

I thought I made it abundantly clear to you that I do not wish to speak to traitors. Don't address me again. Secondly I have no reason to take your word on what the 'sansha did' in any capacity. They tolerate you at best and frankly you are nothing more then glorified cultist trying to summon a demon. Not the evil it self but an enabler.
Too bad. This traitor is right. If you wish to continue to live your life doing things that are the opposite of what traitors do, or discarding true information because of the source, then I would heartily like to recommend continuing to breath. |
